Social Activities

A variety of social activities, related to students’ interests, are held at HIAST. Theses include:

•   Trips‏ :
• One or two trips a term to the different parts of Syria. Convenient and comfortable means of transportation are also provided.
•  
•   Parties and Concerts
• Students’ parties, which is held once a year. This includes acting, singing and dancing. It’s made for students to express freely their ideas, daily problems and needs.
•  
•   Sports activities
• including different games such as football, basketball, handball and swimming. Matches are also held among students of same or different years, or HIAST students and University students.
•  
•   Cultural Clubs
• for students to indulge in whatever interests they have such as: arts, music, paintings, photography, etc. in their spare time.

•   Films :
• There’s a specially well-equipped TV room for students at HIAST to watch films and documentaries.
