Informatics Department

The department performs a number of tasks and projects for the interest of various parties. It also takes part in the teaching process in some Syrian universities due to co-operation agreements.

The department has a number of researchers,well-qaulified engineers and technicians. It supports the other departments in teaching the department-related subjects.

Its main tasks can be summarised as follows:

• Specialized database systems.
• Programming engineering and its application.
• The Arabic language computing.

In the development field, the department performs tasks and projects for the benefit of public sectors. It also conducts co-operation projects with the European Union.
