The Admission for the study of engineering at HIAST
The Syrian Arab students and those enjoying the same rights (copyright owners), owners of the Syrian Baccalaureate (high school) of the year - Scientific Section - whose ranking is included in the range of 15% first received this diploma may enroll in ISSAT for the Engineering Diploma in Engineering.
Syrian and Arab students, holders of high school non-Syrian = BAC - BAC equivalent Syrian Scientific section - are allowed to study at HIAST, after being tested for admission including a number of oral and written tests in units of scientific values and languages, and this purpose before a special committee composed of members through education ISSAT.
The minimum score for entry (admission) will be determined by the equivalence the day after the publication of results of general high school each year (the BAC).
The student-applicant to enroll ISSAT, may choose either to study his personal expenses, the study through a grant application provided by the domestic institutions of a state.
The top ten students received LAC - Scientific Section - who choose to study their personal expenses and payments are exempt from tuition fees during their term of successful study ISSAT. This exemption will stop when the first failure and until the end of the study ISSAT.
The 100 (one hundred) students received the first LAC who choose to study their personal expenses are exempt from payment of tuition for the first year. And in case of equality of candidates' scores based on the combined scores after the doubling of the scores of subjects of mathematics, physics and chemistry, the equivalence between them will be based on age the youngest candidate and in case of equality, will be admitted the candidate with the higher score in math.
Applicants will be ranked according to their ranking scores IBC after the subtraction of the note of religious education and propagating by two mathematics, physics and chemistry. Lists of names of students admitted in different categories
List of alternate names, which will be called in case of cancellation of a number of students admitted.
